APAA 2022 Busan: Registration is Open!
The 73rd Council Meeting of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association in Busan (APAA 2022 Busan), taking place from October 15 to 18, 2022, denotes the APAA’s return to a large in-person gathering for the first time following more than two years of pandemic. The Meeting this year is a fully in-person event in Busan, South Korea, without a virtual format.
The online registration system for the Meeting is now open for members, observers and accompanying persons. Early registration starts on May 25.
All registrations must be completed via the official conference website at https://www.apaa2022.org.
Early-bird pricing is in effect through July 10, followed by standard pricing until August 24. Participants are strongly encouraged to register before July 11, 2022 to take advantage of the discounted registration fees.
During the registration process, participants will have a number of selections to make. Please review all the options available to you to ensure you can make the most of your experience at APAA 2022 Busan.
To proceed with registration, each APAA member will need to provide their Member ID. Non-members will need a signed Sponsorship Letter from an APAA member.

With great excitement for meeting members and observers in person, the APAA Korea Group and the Organizing Committee are planning to offer participants another opportunity — “APAA Plus” — to build up professional relationships with Korean companies and make your visit to Korea even more memorable and productive.
Immediately following the APAA meeting in Busan, the KINPA (Korea Intellectual Property Association) is planning to hold an annual conference in Seoul – “2022 KINPA Conference”. The KINPA is an association of in-house intellectual property experts from Korean companies, with the mission of contributing to growth and fostering competitiveness of member companies. The 2022 KINPA Conference will be held on October 20 and 21 in Seoul. From this year, KINPA conference is to transform into a global event welcoming participants from overseas as well as Korea. The KINPA expects that more than 500 domestic participants in total will be in attendance this year. The APAA Korea Group and the Organizing Committee are collaborating with the KINPA to facilitate the invitation of APAA participants to the Conference. More detailed information will be announced shortly via the KINPA when confirmed.
